Dr. Clay Gunnell is by far the best dentist in northern utah. I have been a regular patient for a few years and I have never had a bad experience with him or his staff. All very friendly, professional and personable. They always take the time to educate/explain things so I can be comfortable and confident with any treatment that needs to be done. Since moving out of cache valley I have still chosen to make the longer drive to see Dr. Gunnell because I know I will be taken care of and that I can trust him with everything dental.

These guys are so great that I drive 4 hours each way just to see them. I’ve had some bad experiences with other dentists in the past that have made me pretty fearful. But Chad is so kind and my anxiety is almost nonexistent at this clinic. I will probably continue to drive my 4 hours to keep seeing him 😅 …

Clay is an awesome dentist and really great person. He takes great care of my family and is always good to educate us on what we need to do to keep good oral health. He was great with our little kids check ups and able to refer us to a pediatric dentist who could help our son get the best help available. Highly recommend Gunnell Family Dentistry. Great dentists with great staff

Best dentist I've been to. Everyone is so nice! I no longer dread going to the dentist. Dr Clay Gunnell and Kyler are my favorites but I havent had anyone that I didnt like. Always left happy!

Called the office on a Friday with tooth pain and Chad called me in amoxicillin to get me thru Monday, went in Monday morning. (They came in early to fit me in) and Chad did X-rays to find out where my pain was at. I would definitely recommend Chad Gunnell as your Dentist as he really cares about his patients and is so personable, and pays attention to detail. He or his brother are an excellent choice if you’re looking for a new dentist. I know he has gone out of his way to help my son in an emergency dental problem also.

My husband and I have been clients of Dr. Lance Gunnell since the early 90’s. His sons, Clay and Chad both followed in Dr. Lance Gunnel’s love for dentistry. Everyone is fun to see when we visit. I can’t say enough good things about this office! Dr. Clay Gunnell is such a great dentist. He takes time with his patients and makes you feel like you are his friend, not just his patient. Jess, the hygienist does an exceptional job! I always leave knowing my teeth got a great, thorough cleaning! Office is clean and inviting. Love it here!

Clay is an awesome guy and dentist! He takes time every time I go in to ask about my life. He takes extra time on our family’s teeth above and beyond any other dentist I’ve been to to make sure not only we are satisfied with the work, but to make sure he meets his own high standards. He might be described as slightly obsessive and a little particular in his work and I wouldn’t have it any other way when it comes to the guy doing work on our teeth. I would recommend him and their office to anybody!

I've been a patient of Gunnel Family Dentistry for around 2 years now after a bad experience with another dentist, and have never looked back. My personal experience is at the bottom but I first want to tell you about how well they treat my Grandma. My Grandma is in her 90's and, for the most part, is very self sufficient. She had an appointment scheduled 3 weeks ago and completely forgot about it. The office gave her a call and were very understanding, and simply rescheduled her without charging any 'no show' fees. When her second appointment came up, it had snowed 6-8 inches that day but my Grandma was NOT going to miss a second appointment. She drove to their office in the middle of the storm (near whiteout conditions at times), and when she got there, was greeted by one of the Gunnell's out shoveling the sidewalk. He personally escorted her from her car to the office, and when her appointment was over, one of his assistants was assigned to walk her back to her car, and even helped clean all the snow off her car and made sure she left the lot safely. I appreciate the care that they show their patient not only when they're in the chair, but when they're out of it too. For my own personal experience with the Gunnell's and Dr. Soffe After my poor experience with another dentist I developed mild to medium dentist anxiety. When my first appointment came around, they were extremely understanding of my situation, and listened to all of my concerns. All of the root causes of my anxieties were addressed, and they were even more accommodating when I had to return a week later to address some issues they had found. All of the dentists I've worked with here have been wonderful and while I don't know of anyone that looks forward to going to the dentist, I at least don't dread it anymore. Thank you to the Gunnell's, Dr. Soffe and the entire staff at Gunnell Family Dentistry for treating your patients with care and compassion!
